Buku, the bank, is releasing its new documentary, “The Legend Of The Blue Wall,” on Netflix this September.
It’s a look at how Buks efforts to help people achieve financial independence and self-reliance have transformed the banking industry.
“I was blown away by the depth of their passion and ambition, which is a testament to their ability to think outside the box and come up with amazing ideas,” said Netflix CEO Reed Hastings.
“Buks mission is to create the world’s most affordable, effective and simple way to save money and grow wealth for everyone.
This film is an essential companion to a growing portfolio of documentaries about our industry and what Buks is doing to help our world reach its financial goals.”
The documentary will be available exclusively on Netflix in September.
The first film, “Budget Buster,” was released in 2013.
Netflix also launched a digital channel called Buks World to provide an even deeper understanding of Buks work with people across the globe.
In the documentary, the company also interviews a number of people who have made a difference in the world, including: The CEO of the US branch of the bank and CEO of Buk, Robert Siegel; a former US Air Force pilot and the CEO of a large US bank, who has been involved with Buks financial initiatives; and the head of a Brazilian bank, a financial advisor, and a former bank employee who has helped to transform the financial sector in Brazil.
Buks global headquarters in Hong Kong is currently being renovated to allow for Buks newest investment and technology.
