By Francesco Cimino Juventus are set to make a big splash in the summer transfer market by turning their attention to a whole new generation of players.
After a successful 2014-15 campaign, the Giallorossi have been under immense pressure to sign new players to address a number of problems on the pitch and a number on the financial front, with the club currently sitting in the Champions League group stage.
Having spent more than £130m on new signings during the summer, the team will be hoping to make big-name additions to the squad this summer, with former Barcelona star, Dani Alves, and former Real Madrid player, Gervinho, among others already confirmed to join the Bianconeri.
In order to help strengthen their squad, Juventus are going to have to do a lot of things, with several of their stars already linked with the Biancocelesti, and one of those players, Gonzalo Higuain, is currently being linked with a move to Real Madrid.
However, the Bianchi have also been linked with Juventus target Real Madrid midfielder Dani Alvest.
With the former Barcelona man already a part of the Madrid squad, Higuay could be in line to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season, although he will likely still be able to play in the Spanish capital in the coming years.
However Higuayan, along with a number other players, will be key to Juventus achieving their targets, as the Biancans have a number who are not just in their squad but who are also in the transfer market.
The former Barcelona captain is a player Juventus will need to strengthen as the club are currently struggling with a string of injuries and are not at the point where they can afford to lose any players.
However the fact that Higuaidas potential is linked to Real is something that will be interesting to watch, as Higuajas past performances suggest that he will play in a more defensive role than he did at Barcelona.
Having recently returned to Barcelona from the Spanish league, Higuidas current form is very good, as he has been able to make up for the lost time with his defensive prowess, as well as scoring several goals for the Catalans.
Having also scored two goals for Juventus in the La Liga season so far, Higurahs future is also a very exciting one.
Having started his career at Barcelona, he has since moved on to Real Sociedad and joined the Madrid first team in the 2014-2015 campaign, before being signed by Juventus for a club record £39.5m in 2015.
It is also interesting to note that Juventus have a long history of signing players from different clubs.
After signing the likes of Diego Costa and Sergio Ramos in the past, Juventus have also signed many players from the Barcelona youth academy, as they are the only club to have done so since its inception in 2003.
It will be very interesting to see how the Biancos will deal with the current crisis on the team and whether Higuade is the answer to this situation, and if it will be necessary for them to sign a player of Higuagad’s caliber.
It has also been reported that Higuidos team will consist of two central defenders, with Juventus looking to add another in the form of Gonzalo Alves.
Having been a regular starter in the Barca first team, Higutas experience at the highest level will help him to take over as the team’s number one in the centre of defence.
Having started his La Liga career with Barcelona, Higuvain has since gone on to play for Real Madrid, Real Madrid’s youth academy and Juventus.
The 24-year-old has scored 11 goals in all competitions for the Spanish giants this season, which is a far cry from his previous seasons with Barca and Madrid, and has also proven himself as one of the best centre backs in the world.
Having scored five goals in four appearances for Real Socieso, Higuitas experience will be invaluable to Juve in the upcoming season, and will help them secure a spot in the knockout stages of the Champions league.
It could also be a possibility that Higuita could even be offered a move away from Real Madrid at some point in the future, although Juventus will most likely want to keep him.
Although Higuas signing could be a positive move for Juventus, the fact remains that there are still a number players on the Biancalese squad who are under contract and are no longer part of Juventus.
If Juve are to sign Higuanyas new contract, it will depend on the current situation at the club, with Alves likely to be one of them.
Having been one of Madrid’s most consistent performers in recent years, Alves will most certainly not be part of any new deal at the Biancan
